Let’s talk about her lifestyle and art inspiration.
Where are you based?
What images keep you company in the space where you work?
I share a studio with Geneviève Darling of Lovestruck Prints, so we have both of our art on our walls. We also have art by Wishcandy, Moule, Laurence Philomène, Zuzu Knew, Space Babe Society, Valérie Bastille and Laura Alger-Barkley.
What was the first piece of art that really mattered to you?
Art has always meant a lot to me, but I saw a Frida Kahlo retrospective a few years ago and seeing her paintings in real life was the most moved I’ve ever been by physical works of art.
How do you choose the subjects for your works?
My work is usually inspired by my personal life and experiences and by the personal messages that people write to me online.
Your favorite place in the world…
The coast of Maine, USA.
Inspiration comes from…
«Girls you’ve got to know
When it’s time to turn the page
When you’re only wet
Because of the rain»
— Tori Amos, Nothern Lad
«We are like a wishing well and a bolt of electricity
But we can still support each other, all we gotta do’s avoid each other
Nothing wrong when a song ends in a minor key»
— Fiona Apple, Werewolf

What needs to change?
A lot of things need to change to make our world more equal. It can feel very overwhelming and hopeless sometimes, so I think it’s important to find the issue that we can relate to the most personally and focus on that, while also supporting our friends in their own struggles.
