The art with a limited shelf life by Michel Blazy

Sculptures and installations by Michel Blazy represent the formation of organic, fragile, ephemeral, perishable materials, which are often made from food products (pasta, vegetables, fruits, grains, etc.) or chemical products (foam, glue, etc.). Some of Blazy’s works are figurative, as, for example, «Black» (poodle from shaving foam) or «Natural moth» (a copy of a traditional still-life from real fruits).

At life stages, including all plant, organic or animal origin of materials, Blazy’s work grows, blossoms, fades, dries and fades before the audience.
